Join in a Yoga Center community discussion about the life-enhancing ideas in The Five Invitations, by Frank Ostaseski. Frank is the cofounder of the Zen Hospice project and a Buddhist teacher. He wrote this book to invite all of us to “wake up fully to our lives” by sharing wisdom about how to live that he gleaned sitting with more than a thousand people facing death.

Find a Place of Rest in the Middle of Things
Cultivate Don’t Know Mind
We will meet weekly for 4 sessions to discuss all the invitations. No pressure - you can read at your own pace - all welcome - in person and on Zoom. The book is available on Amazon or Bookshop.org
This workshop will be hybrid. Participate in person (for those who are vaccinated) or attend live-stream via Zoom.
Facilitated by: Kim Flyr, RYT 500, LCPC, Kim is a therapist in private practice and long time yoga student and former teacher at YCC. She is also an avid reader and writer and believer in the power of ideas and words.

Kim Flyr, RYT500, LCPC, found yoga 15 years ago because she wanted relief from stress! She now loves to share with students what she continues to learn about how yoga can calm and restore the mind, body, and spirit. Kim completed both her 200 hour (2008) and 500 hour (2017) teacher training at Yoga Center of Columbia.
