Join in a Yoga Center community discussion about the life-enhancing ideas in The Five Invitations, by Frank Ostaseski. Frank is the cofounder of the Zen Hospice project and a Buddhist teacher. He wrote this book to invite all of us to “wake up fully to our lives” by sharing wisdom about how to live that he gleaned sitting with more than a thousand people facing death.
The 5 Invitations are:
Welcome Everything, Push Away Nothing
Bring Your Whole Self to the Experience
Find a Place of Rest in the Middle of Things
Cultivate Don’t Know Mind
We will meet weekly for 4 sessions to discuss all the invitations. No pressure - you can read at your own pace - all welcome - in person and on Zoom. The book is available on Amazon or Bookshop.org
This workshop will be hybrid. Participate in person (for those who are vaccinated) or attend live-stream via Zoom.
