Overcome your fear and awaken to the courage an inversion can bring. Inversions can be intimidating. However, understanding certain concepts that can be applied to practicing these poses, such as yogic locks called bandhas, breath work or pranayama, and knowledge of anatomy, can make these postures more accessible. Lead into these more challenging poses by preparing the body with proper sequencing. Have fun and surprise yourself in this workshop!

We will explore the nuances of these common inversions: Forearm Stand or Pinca Mayurasana, and Shoulderstand or Salamba Sarvangasana.

This workshop is for all levels. Participants will use blocks, blankets, and straps during this workshop.
