Brand new to yoga? This six week series is for you. This series is a great way for beginners to understand the traditions involved with yoga and to help build a foundation for future practice. Yoga is a mind–body activity centered on postures, breathing, and meditation. It develops inner awareness and focuses attention on the body's abilities at the present moment. This series is designed to guide the participant through the foundations of yoga, demonstrate basic poses, provide an introduction to mindfulness, and lead the yogi into developing a practice beyond the series.



Natalie Richardson

Natalie graduated from the Yoga Center of Columbia RYT 200 program and aims to share her joy through her many gifts, interests, and practices. As a yoga teacher, Natalie enjoys extending freedom and motivation to others by incorporating meditation into her classes. She lives in a spirit of gratefulness and relishes the opportunity to share her love of yoga with others. In addition to teaching yoga, Natalie is a certified meditation teacher, life coach, and a second-degree Reiki healer. She considers herself a coach from the mat and a longevity energy strategist. Natalie looks forward to sharing her energy through all of these modalities. Energy is contagious!
