Mia Nguyen is a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher who graduated from the Yoga Teacher Training program at the Yoga Center of Columbia in November 2021. Mia has taught Beginner and Intermediate levels as well as Senior, Teen, and Gentle yoga classes, with the focus on alignment, breath, and mindfulness of movement.
Mia is dedicated to supporting the well-being of mind, body, and spirit through the practice of yoga and meditation. She believes that if given accessibility and with regular practice, people's lives can be positively transformed not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Being a former college instructor with extensive teaching experience over ten years, Mia understands the importance of empathetic understanding and patience in helping individuals thrive on improvement and achieve their objectives. She intends to share her knowledge and experience of yoga practice to bring ease and mobility to all bodies. The road of yoga is a never-ending path of self-discovery and growth. Mia values her students, and she looks forward to supporting their journeys by sharing the many health benefits of yoga practice and meditation with each and every one who joins her class.
