Darlene Bergener

Darlene Bergener, E-RYT500, RPYT, LMT, CPMT, CD(DONA) has a passion for teaching informative, inspirational & evidence-based yoga classes and birth workshops to help moms feel vibrant, have fun, relax, recharge and be their best through pregnancy & beyond! 

She completed her 500hr training through the Himalayan Institute in traditional Hatha Yoga and holds an additional 200hr certification in prenatal & postnatal yoga through Colette Crawford of the Seattle Holistic Center. 

She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in Myofascial Release Therapy for prenatal, postnatal, pediatric and adult clients in Elkridge, MD, is a Birth Doula trained though DONA International and is a professional member of Evidence-Based Birth.  Darlene skillfully blends all of her training into her classes and workshops providing extraordinary benefit for her students and clients.

Darlene began her health journey in 1998 during her 12 year career as a mechanical engineer, turning to yoga to maintain her health and well-being. After experiencing the profound benefits for herself, she developed a passion for creating a warm and welcoming environment so anyone, with any size, shape, strength or limitation, can practice safely and confidently in a community of support.

She shares her strong knowledge of anatomy and her sense of humor to educate and help students have fun while maximizing their physical, mental, and emotional health.  Darlene teaches “yoga for life”, not just for in the classroom so students can feel strong, balanced, vibrant and resilient, anytime and anywhere.
